Sorry if someone already brought this up..I did a quick search and didn't see anything.
I was curious if anyone has seen the new iPod video that just came out. Basically comes in either 30G or 60G and is really thin but with a large color screen. You can play music, pictures, and video right on it....its pretty amazing.
I'm sure everyone is aware that Acura is putting iPod integration into next years models. My understanding is the cars with Navigation will be able to search through playlists right on the navigation screen.
My question is, with this new iPod that can play videos, will it be possible to watch movies through the navigation??
If anyone knows of any existing posts or has any info on the subject let me know.

 

I just ordered the new Ipod, it does look pretty sweet. I ordered the 4G last week, i was pissed when this one came out, so I called them and they are refunding all my money on the old ipod and i sent it back. Can't wait for the new one to get here.

If i had to guess, i would say that you could rig up the Ipod to watch shows on the navi, but i doubt you can do it stock. You would prbably have to set up the A/V ipod connections to the navi to include a video connection somehow. i'm sure it can be done.

 

Since video in motion is prohitbited in many states, I doubt they would give you the ability to watch on the navi screen straight from the factory. Of course you should be able to rig your own setup up though.
