do i need to remove the bumper to access the fogs?

 

To get to the housings, yes.

To change the bulbs only, you can cheat and unbolt/unclip the front underskirt, the slide your hand up and in.

 

it may be easier to do so if you are going to retro-fit HID's. However, you should be able to gain access by removing the plastic under the bumper.

 

Make sure you take some pics and let us know what/how you did it. That way when others are doing something of that sort, we got some guide I'm looking to upgrade the fogs to HID's, and i'll need a little help accessing the fogs.

 

I just pushed in the little plastic square-ish thing right next to the fog, changed out bulbs, then pulled the cover back on.

but for the whole kit, start unscrewing the bolts for the bumper - the wiring harness is attached to frame

 

What's the difference between "the kit" and just simply changing the bulbs? I'm just looking to change the fog lights so they match the headlights.

 

Read the manual. It says in there with a diagram.

 

i f you want genuine HID bulbs, you need the ballasts and ignitors, ergo, the whole kit.

if you just want the look, then you just need a pair of xenon match h11 bulbs
