Yeah, I guess a lot gets lost in translation on the internet. Maybe it would have been funnier in person

I tested the road trip on one tank from buffalo to nyc and i got average 29 mpg for highway with a few vtecs throw in and out to pass people.

Mileage is better I think i lost 1 mpg cuz i was driving so fast. haha...

does red text really mean sarcasm? is this common knowledge? i really didn't know that...

anyhow...i live in texas, and there doesn't seem to be many 'good shops' around here. anyone have a clue as to how much it would cost for me now (since the pricing info i found here was a bit dated), how long it would take (how long i can't drive my car), and where i could get it done if i chose not to do it myself?

i have an '06 MT NBP.

thanks.

It is possible to work with a hondata dealer and ship direct to/from the customer, so long as you can pull your ECU /immobilizer....

Not really. I've never seen it outside of here and I visit lots of other message boards...

hondata.com describles ECU removal, with pictures. It is very easy.

Red text? Even without it, it does not read like an actual serious review. Talking about a funny coincidence, just after I posed that, I discovered this issue:

more information on that here:

Is it possible there's some truth to that??? A couple people PM'ed me to tell me that was hysterical. To set the record straight, there was no intent to bash hondata. OK?
