Yea i didnt realize they made it for the auto because i wrote that post before i saw it posted on Hondata's site. Good move for hondata with that one though . I can see turbos and after market torque converters but i cant see any companies willing to mess around with the VTC mechanisms. It envolves taking apart the head to a degree.. i think you have to take out the cam to get the gear off. So basically who ever is doing your install would have to know how VTC works.

VTC can be obtained from an RSX engine. people crash those things everyday..... K pro is really good but price is phenomenal. Especially for a college student like me so I guess I will stick with a reflash which is coming soon. I bought 04 ECU today in case I will want an SC in the future . It was only $100 so I decided to hit it. they are normally sold for $200+. CT SC is also very pricey. 5 PSI for $4200 ?????

yea.. i have the RSX VTC. But i was just saying that i didnt think any company's would be modding VTC mechanisms for the TSX's. But the option is to go out and find one from the RSX-S.

so would there be anyway to use a cable throttle with this setup instead of keeping the drive by wire. pretty sure there isn't without losing other features but if it is possible I would love to know.

well I know it keeps drive by wire but is it possible to not use it since you are using an rsx-s ecu and run a cable throttle and sensor using it.

Try contacting Hondata and ask them.. they should be able to let you know more than anyone here. But i dont think its possible with this current K-Pro since the ecu is being flashed to run with DBW.. dont quote me on it though.. but ask Doug.

I THINK I read that u have to keep drive by wire. I am not sure though, but drive by wire lags a little

Buddy Club has a unit that is supposed to help with the throttle response on DBW cars.
