Hondata an option finally!

Well, I guess once k-pro is out, those companies that make upgrades will finally consider making serious upgrades for TSX's. I mean turbos, VTC mech's, and finally.... most important one would be a torque converter lol!

. I can see turbos and after market torque converters but i cant see any companies willing to mess around with the VTC mechanisms. It envolves taking apart the head to a degree.. i think you have to take out the cam to get the gear off. So basically who ever is doing your install would have to know how VTC works.

Yea i didnt realize they made it for the auto because i wrote that post before i saw it posted on Hondata's site. Good move for hondata with that one though . K pro is really good but price is phenomenal. Especially for a college student like me so I guess I will stick with a reflash which is coming soon. I bought 04 ECU today in case I will want an SC in the future
. It was only $100 so I decided to hit it. they are normally sold for $200+. CT SC is also very pricey. 5 PSI for $4200 ?????

VTC can be obtained from an RSX engine. people crash those things everyday..... K pro is really good but price is phenomenal. Especially for a college student like me so I guess I will stick with a reflash which is coming soon. I bought 04 ECU today in case I will want an SC in the future . so would there be anyway to use a cable throttle with this setup instead of keeping the drive by wire. pretty sure there isn't without losing other features but if it is possible I would love to know.

Try contacting Hondata and ask them.. they should be able to let you know more than anyone here. But i dont think its possible with this current K-Pro since the ecu is being flashed to run with DBW.. dont quote me on it though.. but ask Doug.
