Got a couple hundred bux to spend....ideas?

Alright, so today is my birthday and I need a bit of help with things to get. I was thinking of getting some pedals from www.ultimatepedals.com but they would be over 100 for a full set, and that's a bit outrageous. So now I am getting brake caliper paint and some interior neon. My car is Carbon Grey with chrome rims, what color brake paint should I get? Also....I need the name of some good interior neon THAT IS NOT TOO BRIGHT

any other cheap mod ideas would be appreciated, but the color of the brake paint is the most essential question

Yeah, my dad's been saying how much money I'd have if I put it in some kind of trust funds. BUT he knows what I'm going through right now cuz he used to do the same.

As for painted calipers I'd say no to it because our calipers got nothing to show. It's small, and not as beauty as Brembos or Stoptechs.

nah, well...a bit russian, mostly hungarian

i dont want to tint my windows because then all the girls wont be able to see the sexy guy who is driving by

i think a lip spoiler is a good idea though....and just ordered some interior led modules (i think they are better than neon) for above the pedals and under the glove box

is there any DIY guide for installing that kind of stuff? I have no idea where to hardwire the power to...anybody know how to do it?

IMO, get suspension first. You've got more than enough umph for right now, make those chrome inspyres look crazy nice. Obviously if you're power hungry, then go with Hondata first.

Get Hondata after saving a couple more bucks from our authorized vendor on here. You'll also want to get the heatshield gasket.

I can probably give you some help on where to tap in to get power.

When do you want the neon lights to turn on? Were you planning to hook up an independent switch to do this, or where you trying to tie it an existing switch?

I'm going to install my own switch in one of the empty bays to the left of the steering wheel (next to VSA Off). However, I don't know where to tap into a power source around there

I got your PM MadmanMax, and I'll answer your questions here, just in case other people are interested in neon lights. The solution I'm gonna talk about involves using an add-a-circuit to tap into the fuse box for power. Since you are just running neon lights, then I think this is safe to do. IMO the best way to get power for accessories in the TSX though, is to tap into the steering column. I recommend that method, but if you're a newb, the add-a-circuit solution is so easy, it's tough for me not to mention it.

* Please note: I would not recommend this type of setup for anyone trying to hook up an aftermakert amp/head unit or anything that will be drawing a lot of power.

Here's picture of the fuse box in the TSX. Credit goes to Axygos, for this.
This pic and description was taken from this thread:
https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/sirius-sat-radio-install-287187/

For power supply, I didn’t want to damage or splice into any factory wiring… So I check out the fuse box and found some empty slots. The top row has empty slots that provide switched (ACC) power and the middle row has empty slots that provide constant power. The bolt under the fuse box is convenient to use as a ground. I used the Mini Add-A-Circuit that I bought at Auto Zone to place into the fuse box (I had purchased two of these before looking at the fuse box).

I would hook up the power wire to the Switched ACC power. This only receives 12 volts when the ignition is on, while the Constant is always receiving a constant 12 volts regardless of ignition position. You can think about the constant as being similar to connecting a wire directly to your positive battery terminal.

In order to prevent accidently leaving the neon lights on all night and draining your power, I would definitely tap into the ACC power and NOT the constant ACC.

You'll also need to integrate the switch into your setup. Depending on which switch you get, I can try to help you help with that too. Were you planning to get just a random switch at Autozone or were you going to try to get some type of Acura switch that is originally met for controlling something else?

Also, do you happen to know the basics of how a relay works?
You probably won't need one, but a switch functions in a similar way, so it may help you during the install.
Here's a good link that talks about them. Thanks to MusicBox for this link, wherever he is

the lights are in!...sorta....i bought 6-LED modules and the one on the right is only illuminating 5 of them, and since i'm picky i'm gonna send it back for a new one, but the left side looks great and Add-A-Circuit worked flawlessly
