to be honest, short of going F/I, you wont gain much with the little 4cylinder.

I've heard that flashing your ECU will gain the most results.
Since, I dont have a TSX i'm not sure if its the kpro or the hondata.

Hondata Reflash is a great mod. I would get that for sure.

And even though it won't be a crazy amount of WHP gain, you will notice a significant difference with the "breather" mods.

Intake, headers and catback exhaust.

And honestly, if you want to get big gains, then do turbo or (my personal favorite) supercharger. If you go this route, I suggest the K-Pro.

With the right combination of these things, we've seen the TSX get well into the 300 WHP range.

I do not think the hondata reflash is offered for the 07 tsx-last year was the 06 tsx

Opps, you're right. Totally disregarded the year he stated his car was.

But he can still get the other mods I mentioned!

I have I/H/E on my 06 6MT and no reflash. To be honest the gains aren't worth the cost. I love the sound though! The butt dyno shows a slight increase though, but not enough to outweigh the cost involved unless you want sound and looks.

However when I did the UR pulleys I did notice a gain in just getting to vtec. Best mod for the buck IMO without reflash.

My set up:
CT Catback
CT Icebox
CT Header
UR Pulleys

Now here is an honest guy........ Honda had wrung pretty much all they can from this motor and still keep it reliable and economical it seems (note that even they weren't able to improve on it much when they introduced the 2nd gen.). It's one of the highest specific output naturally aspirated 4 bangers out there (especially now that Honda has discontinued the 2.0 liter Si motor). Judging by what most here say, the dollar/hp gain is way out of balance toward spending a ton to get little. I'd suggest a short ram or cold air intake (only because they sound cool. I think any claimed performance gain or mileage increase is hoooey)(in my opinion). Perhaps you should just continue to enjoy the car.

Echo'ing what's been said. If you're not going FI, it's not worth doing "power" mods on this car. Before I put on my supercharger I didn't notice any real (or at least, worth the money) differences from I/C/H/E.

If I had it to do again I'd lower the car on some nice wheels/tires, add tint, and call it a daily.

This is all I did with my TSX.

The price you spend for so little HP/performance return can cost you over +$7,000 (I/H/E+supercharger+supension+RSB+tires+rims+brakes+etc ...). You would come out ahead trading in your TSX for a stock 6MT 07-08 TL type-S. The best bang for the buck is going for an 07-08 RDX+Hondata+downpipe; this would put a serious grin on your face.

First post here in Acurazine! I have finally got the bug to start doing mods to my '07 TSX as well. Check out this article I ran across in Honda Tuning Mag. Gives you a realistic idea of what to expect from simple bolt ons.

Getting 28RWHP & 31RWTQ gains from adding intake, headers & a catback exhaust to a TSX is totally the exception. It brings into question that article.
No one should be expecting these kind of gains with their TSX.

Most TSX's gain next to nothing with an intake, gain next to nothing with a cat back, especially automatic TSX's.
There are some gains to found with a header but not normally that much.
