Fog lights/m3 lip ordered

Well i just ordered my factory fog lights (HandA accessories) and placed a bid on an m3 lip (sabersport). After some searches... what do you guys feel i should expect with prices of install/paint.

For the fogs.. i was planning to take them to my local dealership where I bought my car..and for the m3lip i don't see how it could cost more then 100 dollars to paint (arctic blue). I live on long island..close to the city.. so I do have many choices... just wanted a heads up!

As BDI mentioned, you would save a lot of money if you did the OEM fog install yourself. I believe the install time at the dealer is over 3 hours.

As for the M3 spoiler, you should expect 70 - 130. If you are ordering from Sabersport, make sure that the painting place preps the spoiler prior to painting. Mine had minor imperfections that showed up after they painted intially. I am having them repaint it to get it looking as close as OEM as possible. I should have pictures up within the next two weeks. I too have an ABP.

Yea i would install, but not very handy when it comes to cars. I tried to do my Inejn CAI myself i got all the way to the end and got stuck with this piece that looked as if it was screwed into the battery.. so i couldent remove it. So i put back my stock one after all that time and just took it to get it down at a shop. The only plus side to that was that i did gain experience with working with cars which is good to have... i am still wondering on how to remove that piece ... lol

weird, I don't even remember about dealing with that when I took my intake out.

Nice to see another TSX'er in the Albany area.

after looking around found the place to do my work. 45 for painting of the lip, 250 for foginstall, 100 dollars cheaper then other quotes. They are very professional and do work for dealers, so by friday everything will all be done.

Pictures please!

Could you especially post a side view of your car from reasonably far away, to see what difference the spoiler makes to the overall profile? I've already seen up-close pics.

Hey..its RMATIC09 (having account issues at the moment). I got a few questions..i attempted to put on the m3 lip but i screwed up and well the tape is messed up. It took some paint off the bottom of the spoiler..but the spot you cant see so it dosent matter, (the paint on the trunk is perfeclty fine). Where can i find this tape? Does anyone have the exact name cause the 3m site has tons of differnt kinds. Thanks

I think it might be the 3M Acrylic Plus Tapes

You could also send a note to Sabersport on eBay to ask if he specifically know the part # for the tape that comes with the spoiler.
