It depends on what you are looking for. The MT is quieter and is guaranteed under 93 db. The SMH is a little louder.

PM me if you need either.

I have used both SMH and MT. Get the MT if you want a quieter exhaust.

If you look on Tanabe Japan's website, SMH is no longer listed; it's just the Medalion Touring (at 95 dB, despite Tanabe USA's continued claim of 93) with the choice of a single or double wall tip.

http://www.rd-tanabe.com/lineup/meda...ing/index.html

My guess: SMH and Touring -- same system, same muffler, different tip.
(Which also possibly raises or proves the old argument about what changing the tip does for the exhaust sound.)

The SMH is still sold and the mufflers are different I have seen them side by side before at my local speed shop. They look a little similar but they are different. As far as tips making an exhaust soud different I don't think is true. My moms 03 accord had a new after market tip welded on and so did my sisters two previous cars and it did not change the sound of the exhaust.

Those are silencers you put on an after market exhaust to make it quiter it's not a different tip on the muffler.
