Does Comptech Icebox come with a CARB Sticker?

Does the Comptech Icebox come with a CARB Sticker?

I bought my Icebox used from Zasker1 in the black market section, so I actually have no idea. I want to see if I need to get this before Comptech closes. That way I am 100% covered when SMOG time comes.
Thanks!

Dang....I've been trying to call Comptech but there is not answer.

Is there anyone out there with a CARB sticker that they don't need?
You could probably just mail it in an envelope and I could maybe even give you a little money for it

Thanks!

Im pretty sure you dont need a carb sticker to pass smog. You just need to pass smog, thats it.

I dont have one for my Injen, but I already know its CARB approved. The smog station could give a crap less...

I passed smog without a carb-approved intake...just make sure you go to a place that isn't super strict with the visual inspection. I just had my accord smogged...he told me that I should get the sticker. He smogged the car anyway.

I didn't get a sticker when I bought my Icebox. I tend to agree with Joe, the shop shouldn't really care as long as you pass. Just to be safe I might swap the Icebox airbox lid with the OEM lid prior to going to the smog station.

I don't recall receiving one either, and I ordered from Excelerate. I still have the box for it at home, if there is a sticker in the bottom its yours.

Maybe someone can make a decent scan of it. If others need it in the future, print it to mailing labels or something.

I'm not to worried about it , but if you guys really need it to pass smog, you can find it on CARB's site too, where they have a list of exemptions.

Aren't they in your neck of the woods? Drive there, pick some up, and mail me one while you're at it. You have a S/C so it shouldn't take long.

that was my thought, just make your own sticker if you need it (aka... are in Cali) One of the many reasons I prefer the right coast.

For those with the K&N Typhoon CAI and who live in Calif., here's the CARB exemption.

I know, it's nothing to do with the comptech icebox.

Thanks PACman and hrj

I used the think you had PACman and the picture with the CARB E.0. Number to find the executive order for the Icebox:

Here's the link:
http://arb.ca.gov/msprog/aftermkt/de...o/D-455-22.pdf

I'll just keep a copy of this in my car in case a cop tries to give me a hard time about the intake.

If someone still has a sticker that they don't need, please PM me though. I would really appeciate it. That way I can put it under my hood next to the CARB E.O. sticker for my SC.

I figured I could probably pass SMOG without it, but I wanted it more for in case I got pulled over and they tried to give me a hard time. And Jan, Comptech is about 50 minutes away from my house, but the only thing is it's in the opposite direction of my work, so it ends up being quite a drive. If they are clearing out parts, I might head up there though!
