Do SS brake lines affect ABS?

Title says it all. I'm considering the ones made by Comptech. Also curious about any other consequences, other than firmer pedal feel.

No. There are no bad consequences (other those that can arise from improper installation). I've had stainless steel brake lines in 2 of my other cars. Honestly, I never noticed any improvement in pedal feel.

If there's no improvement in pedal feel, what are the benefits of SS lines for street driving, if any?

Well, that's my personal thoughts. I'm sure some would chime in and say that they feel an improvement.

There's also the "bling" factor. Some people like to have a Mugen radiator cap, or a carbon fiber fan shroud that may reduce weight by 6 ozs over stock. Neither will provide an appreciable improvement in performance, but they like how it looks when they raise the hood.

The truth of the matter is, for street driving, there likely isn't any benefit at all.

As far as I know the only benefit is that the brake lines won't swell when the fluid heats from repeated heavy braking because the lines are rigid. For street driving though? I don't see much of a point outside of the fact that they look pretty freakin' cool.
