Even though someone urinated on it the other day, it's still holding up fine

(Sorry PixelHarmony, I couldn't resist )

"knock on wood" as well. Mine is great after nearly a year running it. Too bad it's coming out because the car is getting sold.

Sorry guys. Bad joke

Anyway, my header has held up great. :KnockOnWood: I have the older version DC header and got it welded before the install.

Do you guys have any tips or suggestions on finding out if the DC header before purchased is manufactured from the NEW or OLD batch?

Thanks

just as precaution for either batch just have an exhaust shop or a friend that knows what their doin put 4 or 5 tack welds on the inside where the flange and flex pipe meet...once you look inside youll see where you would want to put the welds

There's a way to find out by the build date. Here's one thread I found: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ghlight=header

But definitely, do a search and I'm sure you'll be able to find the thread.

I have mine on for 36k and I have had no problems. The only thing is that "hiss" that was stated earlier...and yes there is a noticable difference atleast on mine.
