Could someone please give me an estimate of how much this upgrade would cost so I could start saving. I was gonna get some rims, but fuck it i'm gonna save up for this.

The RSX-S kit uses the stock ECU with a reflash by Comptech (you send it to them overnight) whereas this uses a piggyback unit apparently, which may make it cost a tiny bit more.

Some food for thought:
I had my friend run a simulation of 1/4 mile runs for the 6MT TSX using some insanely complicated software (it doesn't even run on x86 machines) and he got these numbers:
Stock: 15.21 @ 98.01 mph
Comptech S/C: 13.892 @ 107.49 mph

The stock time seems pretty close but the terminal speed is a little high. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how close the predicted speed will be for the S/C.
By the way, the software is designed for the Aerospace industry so it's not really designed for this kind of work. I've been told that it was a pain in the ass to configure it for these runs but it was interesting to see the results.

One main reason I don't want a SC because of what I know about SC setups. Look at how fast the temp goes up in the datalog below. It goes up very fast in matter of seconds! You can see the temp continues to rise, even the run has been shut down. Just imagine what would happen if you want to perform mulitiple runs without cooling down. We all know what heat can do to engine performance and how it will affect detonation. I can still tune a SC just fine. But I rather spend my effort on a TC which is a little more efficient. Note: Keep in mind that I'm only providing info and not trying to change your mind...

Plus a turbo is more versatile. We can change boost with just a boost controller and not have to worry about pulleys =)

Given that, where will they fit it? There is simply not very much room in the front of the TSX engine bay. Looking at their photos it seems that the exit of the compressor is positioned to force air directly into the intake plenum in a line of sight. If there is an A/C in there, there is some rather elaborate ductwork concealed beneath the blower housing. You could fit an A/C in the space beneath the bumper but the fitment of it just seems to be really tight, and constrictive to unimpeded airflow.
I'm sure they'll get it done but it doesn't strike me as being one of the most elegant solutions available.
