Caught the JDM Addiction

took the pluncge today and boom plus toys hooked it up, 2006 mugen front grill, rear euro-r badges and my favorite, jdm center caps for the silver star rims. gonna be a long wait, but atleast after it gets here in a month, ill be ready to order the euro-r door sills and probably the jdm outer taillight housings. I think im gonna hate/love my new JDM addiction. first my civic, now my TSX, it is a lifelong addiction, i can atest to that. now tha the ramblings over...back to your regularly scheduled programing

when i do shit i do it right, i could have gotten the badges before the center caps from the euro for the rims , honda badges all around and i wont need the front since i got the mugen grill. the only acura symbol on my car will be on my steering wheel, not sure if that will get replaced anytime soon.

yeah, 980 bucks is not something i have at the moment or anytime soon on 1 item. next mods after the grill, badges and center caps are the door sills and the rear corner assemblies . any other mods i should put on my must list, minus any rims or body kits, im not changing those for a long time, i think...

actually if you want a cheaper steering wheel with an H badge on it you can actually get the 03-06 accord coupe airbag as it has the same steering wheel as the tsx. this also allows you to keep the steering wheel controls too. you can buy a new one for around 550 or you can get a new one off ebay for between 350 and 400.

shame on you for posting and not being online. and actually there are going to be more honda accords than tsx's in the DC area soon. especially on the east coast. I mean soon we can have an east coast JDM tsx meet and end up with like 15 cars if this rate stays the same. it will just be a matter of who takes the lead in jdm mods.

got some pics of your last car.

also in experience you get better prices at aj-racing.com however if you tell boomplus that normally they will match them or atleast get close to the point it doesnt really matter.

i only have pics of it 2 years ago when i wasnt as proud of it. the past year, i really cleaned it up, was nice and clean, sadly i have no pics of it anymore. ive been into this scene since i was 16, so i have no problem navigating the aftermarket scene. thats all im sayin. JDM just takes a little longer to get the parts.

That's nothing... my door sills are still on order from August! And that other part you know about it going on 4 months, and the radiator hoses are going on 4 months too.

Nah bring it to the shows you will see what happens. Also you have no idea what this part is just let me tell you it wont be pacing the way for anyone but me and leaving a rocky road behind for those to follow. I only make USDM addictions if I can follow with a large JDM addition.

I don't get this whole JDM thing. What's the attraction? And if you want it so bad, wouldn't it have been easier to go to japan, buy a real euro-R, and have it shipped back here?

Nor should you understand. Only few select enthusiasts are up to the task. You live in VA there's a meet in March in MD you should come and check out a few JDM Tsx and maybe we could convert you to JDMuism. There is still hope for you my friend
