Air Intake

I have a 2005 TSX, I was trying to figure out what intake would be the best for the car.

This would be the first perfomance upgrade to the car. I am looking for gas mileage as well.

I would probably be looking at somthing like the Comptech Icebox or AEM short Ram.

I don't think I am going to go true cold air do to all the rain and snow we get here.

Any Ideas?

Thanks,

If you do a search for "cold air intakes," you'll get a ton of hits. There's been a lot of threads on the topic.

Yeah, you definitely gotta be careful b/c you could suck up a lot of water in CAI and completely lock the motor up. I'd say just remove the filter out of the stock box and you'd be safer.

Better yet, just remove the air intake manifold for the best possible air intake.

nah I would just remove the complete stock airbox and all the tubing and run nothing off the throttle body.

I don't know why someone hasn't come up with a snorkel system for out TSX since everyone is concerned about water sucking up.
