Wow!

Just got back from driving and wow! It's the first time that I took the car past 4.5k rpms (only 1035 miles) and it was sweeeeeeeet! It's been a long time since I got a rush like that driving. And thank the lord no cops were around...
I was on the freeway doing 80 in 6th and popped it into 5th and WOT to see how she'd do. I was doing 95 in the blink of an eye! I must say, I'm positively enthralled right now. Even with a spirited drive, my MPG went up from 26.5 to 26.9!
I was previously looking at the TL when car-shopping and decided that the car was too powerful and would get me into too much trouble. Well, I was right... but the TSX is sure gonna get me into trouble.
:cop:

yeah neither do I. I drove faster in my old school nissan sentra with like 5 hp then I do with the TSX. I floored it everywhere and never let off the gas. Granted it took me a while to get going as fast. But overall I drove at faster speeds.

Yeah, try the redline (don't let your adrenaline overshadow your common sense).

For the people redlining, what type of oil do you use?

As long as you stay below the redline you are using the car within its design limits. Any 5-30 oil with the proper certifications will do.

I use Mobil1.

If you don't redline then you're not using what you paid for. People that never cross 4500rpm are only getting 135hp out of their engines. Let the K24 do some singing.

You need to drive a S2000 (not the newer one -- the gold ol' 2.0L version) and feel it pull all the way up to 9k rpms -- talk about cool.
