Are you speaking purely about looks?
Cars always look better without side mouldings. I can't understand hwo anyone would think moudlings LOOK better.
But they serve a useful purpose so they can be good to have.

If they has a functional purposes, I'd say the're a good thing. But every car door I've ever seen in close proximity to the doors of every car I've ever owned would leave a ding about 3 to 6 inches higher than the mouldings.
Esthetically, the TSX is better off without them...

I want it now!! Don't need on the bumpers but anything on the side is better than nothing. Make 'em to match the body, like on virtually every other Honda/Acura product and they can install mine today. It'll look fine.

I have stated previously that I would like side body moldings to protect the sheet metal from parking lot dings--as careful as I am about parking away from others, dings still happen.
There's also been some question about the grade of steel used on the TSX, that being soft or thin. I'm quite frankly concerned about the thin hood that flexes a bit when I clean it. I've wondered if my old Accord had much more substantial body panels. Of course, better grade steel would weigh down the car a bit more, and perhaps that's a compromise Honda made when they produced the TSX.

I think the door molding looks good. Maybe even better than without, because it breaks up the panels a bit so the car doesn't look so slab-sided. It also helps to de-emphasize the height of the car.
I understand that some would feel that it disturbs the clean lines of the car, because it does, but those huge expanses of smooth metal make the car look a bit porky at times.
Pass on the bumper moldings.
I noticed the hood flex too. The thin metal panels on the car really make me wonder where they are hiding all the weight in this thing...

Like the door side mouldings.
Agree 100% about how thin metal panels.
Protecting the doors sounds like a gresta idea,
and actually adds to the smooth lines of this car.
ANyone knows whos selling this trims???
Cost?? Are they factory painted?

I can live with or without the molding- I think the TSX looks good either way. Consider this: molding costs extra and will interfere with your squeegees when you dry your car after a wash. I like the TSX without molding so I can quickly brush off the water without have the mold in the way.
Moldings anyone?

A few months ago, I posted the same picture and reference from the Honda Germany Web site, athough the car is at another angle. Or perhaps they reversed it to make it look like right-hand drive.
If you would like to see some Euro Accord accessories online, have a look at : Interesting Accessories at Honda Deutschland
I have included instructions how to navigate through the German language, but the Web site may have changed since then.
