VSA noise
My house is on top of a hill and today when i pulled up the driveway, i had some trouble making it to the top. I noticed the VSA kick in and the light come on but then a weird noise, like a grinding noise started. This may or may not be normal. Any thoughts or similiar issues?

Yes, everything's normal, the VSA does make that crunch-crunch sound.
It's tell-tale that you're using your car to it's full extent.
I had a whole lot of "crunch-crunch" myself when I did this: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16454

and yep, it's a low growling sound, doesn't last long, emerges when I'm engaged in some tight handling or swift controlled braking (as opposed to uncontrolled braking? but you know what I mean). At first I was freaked, but now I view it as neat.

To me this is either the traction control aspect of VSA kicking on because something caused the uphill driveway climb to be very slick ... or something is wrong with the car.

Maybe the sound was the ABS pulsing the brakes to reduce wheel spin. This is assuming their was initial wheel spin when pulling up the drive way.

This helps the TSX maintain traction during acceleration and helps the driver retain steering control, even when accelerating on slippery surfaces.
