Update!!
$13K is pretty cheap. If you don't have problems w/ the vehicle down the road and you intend on keeping the car and driving it for say 10 yrs, I think it's a good deal. All that salvage title stuff doesn't really mean too much if you plan to keep the car for a long time.
I typically try to keep my own car for as long as a I can. I bought my last car - 94 Infiniti G20t used for $12.8K in 1997. I drove it for close to 8 yrs before I got my TSX.
If you pay $13K for the TSX and you drive that TSX for 8 yrs and it depreciates to $3K assuming full disclosure of the salvaged title and you sell it for $3K, you've sustained $10K in depreciation over an 8 yr period.
OTOH, for those like myself and the majority of people on this forum who buy a brand new TSX for say $30K out the door, after 8 yrs, the car may be worth only $10K - $12K. So we would've incurred about $18K to $20K in depreciation.
As long as your car is repaired properly and gives you a fair number of reliable years of service, I think you'll do better in the long run than many of us who bought brand new.

My take on it is that he got into a TSX at a price that works for him. Right on.
Good as new? Whatever you want to think. My car wasn't "good as new" after the first 500 miles and all those rattles started showing up.
Just my
ok guys I just got back from seeing it, WOW! it looks great thier gonna detail the intierior and exterior, the painter used to do detail work so he's gonna do that. The pictures suck since I forgot to bring my camera and all I had was my phone. I'll have good pics by mon or tues. it took longer because lisencing took long. BTW yes I do plan to keep it for a LONG time and it was appraised at 23k.

The hood looks bad because they accidently broke the chrome piece while trying to paint it. That'll be on my mon definently. It looks and Sounds great.
