Two Weeks Old TSX

Well my TSX is 16 days old today. Took it for my first long drive to NYC and almost cried like a baby when the car in front of me kicked up some rock and put several small chips in my windshield and 2 small chips on the bumper and side quarter panel. WTF! Moral of the story all you New Yorkers keep your TSX away from the Cross Bronx Expressway, I know I will.
By the way I had a small ding removed by "Dent Wizards" and they did a good job, anyway, it may be wishfull thinking but anyone know if the chips can be repaired without replacing the windshield?

Yes those chips in your windshield can be repaired. I have never had it done, but I haven't heard a bad report against them either. I do know that they can be repaired. I have Geico and they had told me when my windshield was smashed on my old car that if it is small enough ( 1 inch or 1dollar bill in size I forget) it can be repaired and you don't need to get a new windshield.

I gotta tell you guys ... not sure how much it is in your state or through your insurance agent, but the best thing you can do is get a $0 deductible option on your car insurance. Windshield ding? No problem ... they will replace it for you for free (and will even use a company that sends them out to where you are).

There is always construction in Raleigh, NC area ... so this has been great for my wife and I several times already.

Thanks sheik28! I found a place called Safelite Auotglass that claims to repair up to a dollar bill sized crack in the glass, luckily mine isn't that big.

Let's try to keep this kid from finding out that Larch knows nothing about cars.

Hey 007, I'm surprised at you. You're 007, but you couldn't figure out JB?

But I bet everyone else will! (And now, you too!)

I think Larchmont was implying that if you need any bodywork done, make sure they use...genuine...Bondo.
