Tsx grill

Anybody know how to remove the grill assembly from a 2007 Acura TSX?

I've been racking my brain and it feels like it's stuck, been trying to search online forever and still can't find anything.. any PICS included would be much helpful...

Thanks in Advance!

I don't know about 07, but on an 05 it is held down to the bumper with a few clips on the bottom of the grille. I think it is hard to reach unless you take off the bumper. You can try pulling up on it when you've loosened the top part of the grille but you will risk snapping the clips

After you get the radiator plate off, there are 4 "bitch clips" that are pressed from the bumper up through the bottom of the grille. You can reach your hand in there and get them to release by pressing down on them while using a flathead screwdriver on the back side to pry the center part of the clips out. That's it, the grille should pop right off.

for me, it was very had to remove the grill without taking the bumper off, because the clips has never been removed before, and it was very very tight

jay714,

All of the TSX owners that I personally know have had to remove the front bumper in order to remove the grill but I suppose it's possible to do so without removing it. As other posters have pointed out though it's a very confining space to work in. I found a diagram illustrating the various clips and bolts holding the grill into place so perhaps it might be of use to you: http://bit.ly/mvlG8X

Thankfully, I haven't had to remove my grill. Yet

I have a 2005. I suspect a 2007 is similar.
I remove the grill to easily clean bugs from the front of the radiator/condenser.
Raise the hood. Across the radiator support is a plastic cover that is held in place with clips (maybe 8 or 10 of them). (This plastic cover goes completely across the front of the engine compartment - just above the radiator) These clips are the type that have a button in the center. raise the button, and the whole clip can be lifted out. To finish removing the cover, you must lift the hood latch and lift the cover off. I can then remove the grill with my fingers by sliding it slightly backwards.
