On my auto 2006 TSX I’m getting a problem with a possible sensor or some sort. When I go to start, the park and drive light are both on, so I have to put it in neutral and back in park for it to engage/start. I have no check engine lights and none of the lights blink. it’s been happening for a while now. Someone told me it might be my transmission range sensor but I’m obviously not sure.

definitely a good place to start. Replace it and see if it goes away
I had a similar problem with my 99 TL after an accident.
I replaced the trans range sensor, properly adjusted it, and the "lights" went away.
The KEY to successful replacement is to properly adjust the sensor.
See attached.
Trans must be in N.
Remove front-driver wheel
Feeler gauge must remain in place as your tighten the mounting bolts.
(Helpful to have a 2nd set of hands)
