Has anyone heard of a TL engine swapped into a TSX? The 3rd Gen engine? I think TSX would be a nice ride with a TL 3.2 and a six speed tranny. Is it possible?

 

With enough money it's possible, but I think it would cost more than the TL costs to pull it off. 3.2 is conisderably larger than our 2.4. If you're in love with that engine, couldn't you get a TL-S? Then you'd have your 3.2 and manual tranny.

 

Oh, if you just want the power the 3.2 has to offer, get a supercharger. You can put out over 300 hp easily with one, which will get you the power of the 3.2, but you'll retain the economy of the 2.4.

 

I just thought thought TSX with a 6 cyl would be pretty nice ride. Probalbly faster that TL. how much does supercharger run for?

 

TSX is a 4-banger. 2nd gen has a V6 option.

As for us 1st gen - S/C is about $4,395 MSRP (CT-Engineering), but I'm sure our vendor can get them cheaper.

 

I've always thought bout it but think buyin a new car is the better option; the tough question I cannot answer is whether to get a 07-08 TL-S or a 2nd gen TSX V6
