still waiting for my grille
i ordered a mugen grille from boomplustoys at the end of september and was told that there would be a 4-6 week wait. fine.
when i ordered, i put my 1/2 down payment toward a prepainted cgp grille. i got an email a week after my fax that told me that i couldn't get one prepainted in that color. also fine.
my grille was supposed to arrive from japan to boomplustoys in mid november, but mid-november rolled around and i hadn't heard from them. they emailed me finally when the container came in from japan and they opened it up and OOPS! it's not on there!
they tell me it'll be on the mid-december container (hopefully).
mid december rolls around and i haven't heard from them. i've emailed them 3 times asking for status updates and each of my emails has gone unanswered.
has anyone had this much trouble with boomplustoys? based on the number of people on the forum that had ordered from them, i was surprised to get such a bad experience!

I've ordered from them twice. Both times the communication was verging on non-existant, but the parts came when they told me they would. Stop emailing and CALL them. They operate a retail shop, and people are much more apt to act on a voice contact than some cold email.

no answer to your boomplustoys problem but yes your cannot get jdm parts in carbon grey pearl but you can get them in graphite pearl which is the exact same color or if there is a difference it is non existent.

I agree with Reach, you should call them, Morris and his team have good customer service (when I had ordered from them). I had ordered my mugen grill from KingMS since they had it in stock and shipped it within 3 days..

I hope I don't have the same luck when I put in my order for all the stuff that I am getting...I've requested a few quotes from boomplustoys and have always received a response within a day too....seems like they screen their emails.

i have an order in with kingmotorsports for the same grill, and i have been waiting about three months as well. I have called them multiple times, and apparently they say that Mugen in Japan has not shipped any of those grills to any overseas suppliers in the last few months. So its not an isolated problem with boomplustoys, its affecting kingmotorsports too

sucks man, I'd definitely call them and let them know what's up. Did you order it with a credit or endorsed debit card? You could always cancel payment if they haven't charged you already, that'd send a strong message.

well, i ordered with a credit card, and they charged me $150 out of $320 (shipped). i doubt they'll refund my $150 and i still want the grille....
