I'd say almost everyone here either prefers nothing at all or just the lip spoiler. There are only a couple of people here who like the oem spoiler, and I'm one of them. I actually want to get one if I finish all my other mods and have money to burn. I don't like the lip spoiler, but everyone else does (it's like a $20 mod?)

I don't think the deck lid is long enough for a spoiler, but it's your car, what do you like?

the oem spoiler doesn't look right on the TSX for some reason which is why I think many opt for the lip spoiler

Meh, not a fan of the OEM spoiler at all. To me, the OEM spoiler looks like you're trying to make a slow car look fast. I prefer the subtle look of the lip spoilers much more .

Just remember that with the OEM spoiler, you have to drill holes into your trunk so if you end up not liking the look, you'll have to either deal with it or buy a new trunk...

don't put it on simply because you have it. That'd be silly. Installation leaves you with holes in your trunk so it would be hard to change your mind later.

Personally, I like the TSX without spoilers. Even the lip one. It almost has a kind of built-in spoiler look anyways because of the way the trunk edge juts out.

Not a fan of the OEM spoiler (not a fan of spoilers on 4 door cars period) but if I had to, I'd get the lip spoiler.

^^ I am going to have to disagree. Technically adding a lip spoiler or basically most mods that people do is because they want their car to look sportier? theres a certain look to mod car that gives of the i want it to look fast type of look. I like the oem spoiler specially with the a-spec body kit, but to be honest i kind of regret getting the spoiler i can of like the car without any spoiler at all.

I like the look of the OEM spoiler with the A-spec kit on the TSX. It seems to fit together better compared to TL with a wing spoiler (TL looks better to me with a lip spoiler).

Cosmetic mods (lip kits, mud flaps, leather bra, grille, spoilers, rims, door edge guards, window tint, etc) are in the eye of the beholder. I got the A-spec with spoiler because I liked the look of the car with those items.

Count me as one with the OEM spoiler and like it. I admit that it looks better from the rear angles than from the front angles, which make it look too blunt and upright because you can't see the rake of the leading edges. One thing I like that most people overlook with wing spoilers is that it shows you where the end of your car is when you're backing up. Otherwise the entire trunklid is completly invisible from the driver's seat (unless you have a neck like a giraffe). One other benefit of the OEM spoiler also it has the integrated brake light, which is LED, allowing you to remove the incandescent brake light and the big hump on the rear shelf to further improve your view out the back.

I have the oem spoiler and love it. I particularly like the third brake light back there for safety.

Coming from a CL that had a Spoiler and now a TSX with an OEM spoiler I think it looks awesome. I have been impressed with some of the lip spoiler I have seen on some TLs and primarily on BMW cars. I think it really goes to personal prefrence. I think the spoiler adds a more aggressive look and angle to the car that it does not have with out the spoiler.

i think either way is okay.......my car came with the oem spoiler so i'm not complaining. i think the oem actually looks really nice, especially with the a-spec underbody kit.

I agree that spoilers generally don't look that good on 4-door cars; TSX in particular. They don't look BAD, just not any better.

I think lighter colored TSX's look well with the OEM spoiler, PWP or SSM.

Darker colors look clean with the M3 lip spoiler.

I think the OEM spoiler doesn't work well with the TSX. I think it makes the rear end look chopped short to me. I like the lip spoiler (have one) - it's gives the rear some texture without overdoing it. It's also a $40-60 part, painted and shipped.

I have the OEM spoiler on my SSM and I can't imagine not having it on there. To me, it differentiates the car from other 4 doors. I don't necessarily think that it makes it look "faster", but it does look sportier and adds a nice look to it. I was very close to not getting it, but am very glad that I did. Now, we I see non-spoiler TSX's, I always think that they look unfinished. Having said that, I do like the lip spoilers too. That would be my choice on the TL.
