Speed sensing wiper on TSX

Am I the last one to find out our wiper has speed sensing detection? If we put the wiper under "int" with fastest speed, it will slow down if speed is under 20km.
That wasn't in the manual, is it?

I know '03 TL-S has it but didn't realize TSX has it too.

It's an Accord thing All 6th gens have this too. I'm not sure if the 5th gen Lude did but it might. I just assumed this was a Honda standard wiper thing.

I personally love this feature--I also love the way honda's int-adj. dial works. Everyone should copy this set-up.

I did my stupid trick today with the wipers. My hand accidentally brushed upon the wiper stalk, and the wipers started. I was on the highway and drove for about a mile until I figured how to turn the durned thing off.

Actually, it is in the manual . But it's a very nice feature. I like how it gives a quick wipe when you take your foot off the brake after being stopped.

I actually don't like it that much. I'm happy for speed-sensitive intermittent wipers, but in the TSX they are not analog. Once you hit a certain speed that you choose with the dial, the car switches the wipers from slower to faster... as apposed to gradually doing this as the car speeds up and just changing the degree of sensitivity with the dial. I do like that dial though.

I wonder why they didn't give us rain-sensing wipers like the Europeans have.

RAIN?? What RAIN?? It hasn't rained on our TSX since we bought it two months ago. Our MDX has the speed sensitive wipers so I know what they do. But it hasn't rained on that sucker either. When we lived in Northern California, I remember rain.
