SOCAL -- anyone want help me with OEM kit install?

hi, i've been lurking on this forum for a while now because i was thinking about getting a tsx and now i finally have one! anyway, i have the oem lip kit on the way and i was wondering if anyone in the torrance area or anywhere in socal would like to help me install i was looking over the directions and removing the bumpers seems like a pain in the ass so it'd be nice to have someone here who's done it before to help me out and make sure i don't screw anything up!

i'll pay for a meal!

When are you planning to do it? I'd help, but I think I'm pretty busy for the rest of June (next weekend I have an exam), and the weekend after is the all-cali meet

I thought bumper removal wasn't required to install the oem lip kit, just take off some clips and add some clips.

The oem lip requires some cutting and drilling I believe. The Euro-R kit is the easier one to install

Uhh, no. No cutting, drilling or removing of bumpers is required. Only thing that needs to come off are the stock side skirts. Other then that its all bolt on.

I guess these people are wrong:

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...rilling+%2Akit

And I could have sworn that I read an installation manual where it did mention that you needed a drill as part of the tools....

He did just get a TSX after all, so he probably has an 07 which ought to be similar to the 06. I think the modification is due to the foglights

^ i'll take pics once i detail the car and get hte mugen window visors (i ordered them today lol)

i guess the hardest part of the front install is taking off the bumper itself...i was just afraid of breaking the clips. also cutting into the bumper with the razor wasn't so fun haha
