Shift Knob Replacement

Hello all. I have a black/parchment TSX (still in the shop, but that's another thread). I got the extra wood kit installed & it looks great. I was wondering if any one knows of a wooden shift know that goes with the wood dash. I think it would be the final piece that really makes everything come together.
I am not getting the wood steering wheel option, so if I kept the leather knob, it is not the worst thing. But most knobs I see are way too dark. Any suggestions?

Jester, I don't have any suggestions for you, but as a black/parchment owner, I too would love to make a shift knob change for my 5AT, so I'll be watching this thread carefully to see if anyone has information for you. There's got to be some aftermarket outfit that can help here?

Anyone see the knob on the 04 TL? This looks real darn close to the TSX wood color.

ANyone have an opinion about this?

Exactly. If I have the money, I would go for the wood steering wheel too.

Is this what your thinking of?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2448759815

From the seller:
"This is a high Quality luxury Knob. Not yet available at your Acura Store. But soon your Acura Store will have this Accessory too. . ."

Go to ebaymotors.com. Moose68163 is selling a luxury wood shift selector knob that matches the woodgrain pattern and color of the TSX perfectly. I just won a bid this item and I'm waiting for it to get here. I'll let you know how it looks when I have installed it.

Please let us know know how well it matches the "plood" on the TSX dashboard. Compared with the prices of the MDX and TL knobs he also offers it does seem a little pricey.

I am becoming increasingly annoyed with shifting an ice cube every morning.

Anyone have any idea of how to buy the JDM/Euro Accord shift knob made from the miracle insulated material "plastic"?

Also, the RSX S-type 6speed knob is discount priced at $21.98. Could that possibly work????

Here's what made me laugh:

This is a brand new custom made Shift selector knob. Never been installed on any Car.
Then how did he get the pictures of the knob in the TSX? Hmmm...Call in the X-Files...lol

Hey, I know this is an old thread, but I would love to buy one of these for the Red 5AT I have ordered...does anyone know where I might find one? I emailed the seller in that eBay auction, but no response yet. Any other places?

Thanks in advance!

Got mine TypeS shift knob off eBay for $20. It looks nice with AT TSX for sure. I am sure you can get good deals from eBay.
