Shift Knob???

Ok, now I know this is a subjective thing, and a minor one at that, but I had to mention it. I'm a current A4 owner shopping around for a new vehicle. I've had my eye on the TSX for awhile now and finally got around to heading to the dealership this weekend to drive one. Well, of course, they didn't have a 6 speed in stock to drive so I had to just sit in the one they had on the sales floor. Anyway, what's the story with the freakishly small shift knob? The thing felt like an old Atari 2600 joystick in my hand. I know that stereotypes dictate that people of Japanese descent typically have smaller hands than those of European descent, but wow.

Thoughts?

Fits me perfectly, too, and I'm a 6'3" Viking with Size 13s and an XXL glove size!

Ok, maybe I should just give it a try and shut my hole in the meantime. Thanks for the comments.

I only wish Acura would've developed a 6 speed in the last generation Integra. Talk about a car in need of a 6th gear.

The first time I saw it I thought it looked tiny, but it really does fit your hand nicely.

My old 86 IROC had one the size of a baseball. I felt like I was gripping a fastball every time I shifted. And, yeah, my 91 Integra with a 6th gear would have been sweet (and better mileage on my trips up and down I-5).

i never really heard anyone complain about the tsx shifter until now. it's the same one as the s2000 as xizor said, except we get cool red letters haha sucks to be a s2k owner haha. j/k

but i like it better than those nasty bulky stock shifters on other cars, i have no problem with the stock shifter at all, and would probably never change it either.
