Rsx Vs Tsx

Does RSX (AT) has better accelaration than TSX (AT w/Navi) ?
Because my girlfriend drives RSX (AT) and feels like she beats me on the start everytime...sad. I also drove her car and feels like car goes faster than my TSX (AT w/Navi). Is it true!!!? or Am I really suck at driving?

Neither one has enough power that I'd be willing to lose a lot of those horses in a torque converter, but...

TSX has 200hp and weighs 3318#, that's 16.59 pounds per horsepower.

RSX has 160hp and weighs 2769#, that's 17.30 pounds per horsepower.

it also could just be that as it is a "sportier" car it feels faster due to a) less sound insulation
b) more wind noise

The "Butt Dyno", as it has been called on this and others forums, is really subjective!

when you're talking about two automatic cars, does it really matter how good the driver is? i mean, when it comes down to it, the shifting is done for you, uh, automatically, and it's basiclaly just a matter of the driver keeping his/her foot down on the gas. so i dont really think this had anything to do with how good the driving was, maybe the rsx AT really is just faster than the TSX AT, but i'm not sure. i just dont think driving skill had anythign to do with it, or at least wasnt the deciding factor.

unless of course, theyr'e using the SS, but even that requires very little "skill" to use.

Haha!! You are right. May be that's the reason why I've never beat her on the start. That makes me a real men right?

I've driven a RSX AT and I found it to feel a lot slower than my TSX. The RSX drove more like a civic. If I didn't know better I would have though I was driving a civic ex.

Yeah that's why you need to go with the RSX typs S. So far that's all I've seen here in Anchorage is nothing but RSX type S's.
