Replacing the shift knob on an automatic

Is it easy? I didn't see a screw in the side like my old Accord. Anyone replace there's yet?

You just have to unscrew the whole knob. There are a million threads holding it on so it takes a while to unscrew it.

Thanks Dan. I tried to turn the knob by hand and it didn't seem to want to come off easily. I wasn't sure if it simply just unscrews. Didn't want to break my new car! heheh

Maybe they use Locktight or some other product, eh? So I should just twist it off with alittle force?

I'm not sure just yet. I was looking at the Infinity G35 auto knob in their brochure. It's black on the sides, with crome strip from rear to front. Looks classy. lol If I can find similar aftermarket.

Is it possible to replace the shift knob on a 2004 Honda Accord automatic? I don't want anything bulky like what is on the car stock. I really like the 2005 Acura RL shift knob, but I know that it probably wouldn't fit because I don't have an automanual. Are there aftermarket shift knobs I could buy?

Talking

I would think you can replace any shift knob. I would go here: Shifter Types and see which one yours is. Then surf shops on line like: Car Domain and find the right shifter for you.

GL!

Will this work?

Will the Razo RA93A Shift knob work for a 2004 Audtomatic Accord EX V6 sedan?

Don't look like that one has a push button to release the lever, true? Does yours have this lever? If so, you may need one that also has it.
