Anyone ever replace these with a better speaker? I am looking to put in an amp and replace all of the stock speakers, and don't really want a sub.

i have a pair of 3 way infinity speakers 6x9 on the rear deck and 4 infinity speakers 6.5" two ways on the doors. sounds a lot then the stock ones. It's a really easy upgrade too.

 

would anyone recommend putting these in the rear deck of an 06 TSX?

They won't be as loud as the filmsy stock paper woofers, because they have much bigger magnets and stiffer cone, but it certainly tightens up the bass. I used them with the stock amp and it was a good improvment. Should be very good with a proper amp.

Too bad I forgot to remove them from my car before I sold it, otherwise I could sell them to you

 

I've been looking at those, I am sort of kicking around the idea of installing an MS-8 in my car and upgrading my speakers. Did those fit back there without any mods? Was there any rattling back there after installation?
