Let me try to bring this thread back on track by this question

Is DE-badging just as illegal (at least possibly trouble-causing) as RE-badging?? (assuming rebadging is indeed at least trouble-causing as explained earlier)


There is no law in the U.S. (can't speak for Canada) that says you have to have your car badged. The only badging that is required in the U.S. is your license plate. As long as your car is registered correctly you are alright.
