Re-Badge tape
Hello all.
Yes, I searched... didn't find any good vendors.
I debadged my TSX, but I don't like it.
I want to put the Acura and TSX badges back on.
Where can I buy the correct 3M foam tape to do so?
Thanks for your time.

Try a local automotive paint supply store or do a search for "3M automotive attachment tape."
Keep in mind there are several versions of this tape, the foam tape is somewhat thicker than what is used for automotive applications.

Okay, found some.
After much searching in local auto parts store I happened to come across
exactly what I was after.
3M foam tape specifically for molding and badges (emblems).
Advance Auto was the place if anyone is wondering.
She's back to being all badged up now.
p.s. Goo Gone really doesn't work well at all removing the old gunk.
not on a new car anyway. It took about an hour to get that gunk off
using Goo Gone. Next time I'll use 3M's Adhesive and Tar Remover stuff.

with tape on it.
I also have the tape from 3M, specifically for emblems I just bought.
they look exactly the same to me.
I spent quite a bit of time custom cutting the new tape to fit and look
exactly like the factory tape in design.
They are the exact same thickness.
same color.
same feel.
same look.
so what's this difference you speak of?
