Yep... I also got a copy of the Acura and Honda models that are compatible with the '07 TL Folding Key. 2004 thru 2006 and I would assume 2007 TSX's will work with the '07 key / fob.
Here's a pic of the finished product. Precision machined and every bit as robust as a factory key.

the blank is $35 from e-store honda
your dealer may charge you like $45, but you can just take the invoice from e-store honda and the dealer should match that price.. at least some of TL guys said that including myself

FYI, FBLusa has the best solution. I highly recommend having him mill the stock key down.

So, I'm confused, if he decides to go vendor on this, is he going to custom cut each key(order) he gets? Doesn't this require crap load of set up time for each key?

Hey Everyone...
I just wanted to chime in here and maybe answer a few questions.
Moda-Way... Thanks for the props. It says a lot about ones character.
Pricing...
I can't publish any pricing as of yet. I still have to work out things with the Mod's / Admins. It'll take a little more time but in the long run it's better for everyone.
The Key...
What I do is precision mill the raw '07 key blank to the specifications of the '04-'06 TL key blank.
This is the '07 as you would get it from Acura.
When I'm finished... It looks like this.
It's essentially what Acura would sell you if they decided to make '04-'06 TL folding keys.
Will it work in my car?
More than likely... YES
Here's the models that the key and chip work with.
3rd Gen TL's (2004 through 2006) Remote Works
TSX (2004 through 2006) Remote Works
Accord (2003 through 2006) Remote Works
CR-V (2006)
Element (2006)
Odyssey (2005-2006)
Ridgeline (2005-2006)
Pilot (2006)
How do I get one?
You'll have to wait until the project has been sprinkled with Holy Water by the Admin's. After that there will be a post (possibly a sticky) that will have all of the details.
You can PM me if you want, but to be completely honest a lot of people want this key so... Right now I'm just putting people on a list (my inbox fills up pretty quick so check back if it's full, I check it quite often and make space when needed) .
I also have around 20 keys coming in within the next few days to get a jump on things.
What do I do once I get my key?
Locate a locksmith in your area or take it to the dealer. They will cut the key blank to match your existing key. The chip also needs to be programmed. My locksmith used a hand held programmer that plugged into a port under the dash. It takes around 5 minutes to program the key into your car. I paid $40 to have my key cut and programmed. Somewhere between $30 and $60 seems about right. You'll have to shop around.
Once you are done...
You will have a key that is just as strong and robust as you would have if Acura had given it to you upon delivery of your car with full functionality and no compromises in quality.
I'm keeping everyone over in the 3rd Gen TL forum up to date but will stop in here to answer any questions that you may have.
Please don't PM me with questions that I can (and will) answer here. Not only will you save me time so that I can get your key to you faster... other members will benefit as a result.
I'll keep you all abreast and no one will get turned away.

Can't wait!
So these will come as complete units, and we just need to get the key cut and chip programmed, right?
and I missed this in previous posts, but I remember reading something about driver 1 and driver 2 key or something. However, I have a 04 without this, so are all the remote buttons going to work, and I'm assuming transponder is compatible?
Put me on the list, btw

Pete is a very good guy and has a superior process which is why I 100% recommend him and his process. Nothing beats keeping the stock key blank.
I will be swaping out my immobilizer chip from my USDM Accord key mod into the TL switchblade.

I have my 07 TL key programmed just fine on my 04 TSX. I know it will work fine on all of our cars.

FLBusa, moda_way - one question after following this thread for quite some time now - how are us Euro Accord's set-up if we wanted to follow suit and get this 'mod' done for ours?
Our keys don't have the panic button, so non-function of that is fine.

The dealer cannot cut down the stock 07 TL blank down to our profile. Once Pete gets Admin approval, you buy an 07 TL key online, send it to Pete, he mills it down to our profile, you take it to a local hardware store, they cut it to match your stock key, and then you take that to the dealer to have the chip inside the 07 TL key to be recognized by your ECU. If you have an 06-07 TSX, you will want to make sure you choose the Driver 1 or Driver 2 TL key depending upon your needs.

I think I'm confused...Have we all forgotten about the immobilizer chip?
Isn't the dealer programming part only to pair the remote to the car for recognition purposes? The immobilizer part is another thing entirely, isn't it?

...or am I thinking of the USDM Accord key, but nontheless shouldn't programming the chip be the same process for the '07 TL key?

Okay, I'll restate the part of the immobilizer chip and transmitter differences.
We absolutely can program the transmitter buttons ourselves (those that unlock/lock the car). This is the ignition sequence referred to above.
We absolutely cannot program the immobilizer chip ourselves. That has to be done at the dealership using the HDS tablet. ~1 hr of labor is the cost.
To answer the Euro Accord question, please look on the back of your OEM fob and tell me if you see a manufacturer name of OMRON. If you do, then yes, this can be done for you as well.
