Question about new forum format

First of all, I like the new look.

When I put my cursor over a thread, it used to pop up a box with the first post of the thread. Kind of a preview without having to click on the thread. Now it only works on some of the threads. Did something change?

Just FYI, I am on Mac OSX Panther and using Safari as my web browser. Worked 100% on old forum format, now only works about 1/2 the time. Any web gurus or moderators know why?

I am noticing that the pop ups do not occur for me if the thread is more than one page long.

I thought that might be it too, although I'm still not sure that's it. Seemed to me a few didn't follow that pattern. I hope it gets figured out, as it is a nice way to get an idea of what a thread is about without having to actually click on it.

I've noticed the same thing. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to when the "preview window" pops up. It doesn't do it on any post longer than one page but single page posts only sometimes do it. I found it to be a very useful feature and hope that I/we can figure out how it works. It doesn't seem to be dependent on where in the post window you place your mouse. Anyone have any ideas how to make it work for all posts all the time? Soopa, help.

the preview is only available for threads that were created AFTER the upgrade.

What happend to the signatures?

How about signatures? I noticed my signiature doesn't appear anymore, nor does anyone else's. I can still go in and edit it but it won't show up. I've tried both quick and advanced reply. Any ideas?

The "Show New Threads" button is now on the blue bar at the top, right between "Calendar" and "Search".

It seems like once you post in a thread you automatically get subscribed to that thread cause my inbox is filling up with stuff.
