Picture of 70 percent tints?
Anybody have pictures of a tsx or any car with 70 percent tints? I wanna see if its worth it being its illegal to ahve any darker in new york. Anybody know how enforcing the cops are with this in new york, and in central new york?

depends on what mood they're in, from what i've heard, that depends on what time of the month, but its rare, ive been pulled over 3 times since ive gotten my tl tinted and never have they mentioned it, or have i gotten a ticket also, so i might just be lucky

99 times out of 100 they don't care. But there are always exceptions. In NYC they won't care at all, I had 80% all around with no problems. But in Binghamton where I went to school there used to be check points just for tints. The ticket was only like $40 so its not too bad.

70% is the legal limit in Cali too.
After looking at 70% it was way too light. You could barely even tell it was tint. I ended up getting 50% tint instead. Let me know if you want some pics of it.

70 percent TINT is really light.
Whereas 30% tint would block out 70% of the light.
Therefore:
30% tint is MUCH DARKER THAN 70% tint.

70%? I wouldn't see the point in payinf $100-$200 for having the tint at 70%. I would just go and get some of that anti UV stuff put on the windows to keep the car cooler in the summer. But 70% just looks like you tried to tint it but somebody messed up.

There is a chart at the following site which details the film laws for autos in every state.
http://www.iwfa.com/iwfa/Consumer_In...statelaws.html
Our last 3 cars were 20% on the sides and rear, which is illegal on the front sides here in FL. That being said, it was close enought to where no one gave it a second glance. I am having my TSX done with 32% on the sides and rear next Monday. I would normally go darker but, i've seen CG TSX's before with very dark film and (personal opinion), I wasn't crazy about it. I'll take pix.

No problem yuhoo22. Here it is. Pinnacle Ceramic tint 50% front / 15% back/rear.
If I could do it all over again, I would probably do 50% front / 35% back/rear.
I tried to include a couple of pics in different lighting, since tint darkness will look different based on the lighting.

I agree with steeltown, nice ride TSX536 and same color as me, dang I need to know where I can get a computech supercharger like that in the Chicagoland area now. With that computech supercharger I wonder if I can hang now with the G35, Accord V6, and Maxima
