Parchment

I think it'd look hot too. Personally, I think the prettiest is a black car with that color interior, really nice.
Does anyone know if it's possible to replace the wood look of the parchment interior with a metal look?

I called a dealer to find out if you can special order this combination from the factory, and the answer was an emphatic "No."
However, I suppose the alternative would be to order a white/parchment car and have it repainted blue.
Any ideas how much that might cost?

3m sells this film that has a metalic look and can conform to objects. I've seen it used before on laptops to give them a brushed metal look, it'd probably work fine for covering the wood trim. It'd be quite and effort, but it'd look almost like the stock metal look.
Something to think about...
I say we all email acura and request it for next year

Wow, it's so nice to hear other people like the parchment. I was getting quite self-conscious about saying I like the parchment.
I like the look of the fake wood stuff, but the "aluminum" on the steering wheel doesn't look quite right with the wood. I've been interested to see what the parchment interior would look like with the metal trim from the ebony/quartz interior.
BTW - I absolutely love the look of NHBP with parchment interior.

The metal look trim pieces have to be able to be purchased by themselves as individual parts (just like every part on the car), so what you could do would be buy them then replace the fake wood pieces yourself w/ the metal look pieces, I think it will look better that way.
I still think the contrast between the black dash and parchment is pretty bad though

Maybe this picture will show the gold color better. Oh...I'm talking about the gold color of the wheels.

You'll find no complaints from me about NHBP/Parchment!
And don't fear the black. The extra work in keeping it clean will reward you with head-turning looks from passers-by and even yourself.
Anyway, while your car is new, you're going to be washing it like a fanatic on the weekends. The trick is to keep up the momentum. Having it coated in a protective polymer helps...

Metal trim on the parchment interiour is just wrong. Someone had found a pic of a JDM Accord with silver trim on parchment as well as a darker wood trim. The darker wood looked much better, this went for an ebony interiour as well. Since the parchment is light colored to begin with, a metal trim would not create enough contrast.
The trim had bugged me enough that I was willing to spend some money repacing it, but after living with it for a while I've come to accept it.
