no i dont work there.. haha.. just a lot of people dont like to do oil changes.. and its old news as in last month.. if i work there i be posting on 1/25 when they released it.. i just saw commerical for it..

That's ok man! We're just very touchy these days because we have a problem with one guy who is repeatedly posting and reposting spam, and creating multiple accounts every day just to spamIf your IP was corresponding, you wouldn't have had the time to post again, but thanks.

yeah just letting everyone know new product..
ie.. in the winter season, my driveway is all frozen.. I like to diy oil change.. wouldn't mind skipping 2-3 month
having a mobil 1 15k might just do it.. but it looked like there are some filter problem if you leave stuff in that long

Have you had problems with AMSOIL or something? I've been using their stuff in every car I owned and been extremely satisfied. I change the oil when it looks dirty or when the spec says to, which usually equates to about once a year with filter change halfway.

hey I did a focus group for mobil on the tv spots for this prodcut about 6 months ago! haha.
What was the commercial like? I wonder if it was one of the examples we saw...
On a side note i'm making the switch to synhetic tomorrow!

im just saying amsoil has competition now...
this is good cuz it may cause a small price war and drive the prices down for both
commerical was just a car driving and a few bottles coming up, 5000, 7500, extended 15000

I'll still have to change mine in half that time. I live in Texas. Honda oil is supposed to last 10k on the K-series engines (except in extreme areas, where the temp gets over 90). I still change my Mobil 1 every 5k (though it will probably last 7k) when I rotate my tires. The oil comes out in pretty good shape for that mileage, but I drive my car in a more "spirited" manner.
