mobil1 sync.

hey guys i just changed my oil to mobil1 sync.

and i drove the car about 10 miles, when i got back to check i noticed the dip stick has brown oil on it, also i cant see any oil through the oil cap.

wasnt the mobil1 oil light blue? im using 5w30

mobile1 is not blue...it is a light brown tannish color.

Did you do your oil change correctly?
After you drain all your oil add about a quater quart to the engine and let that drain off as well. This will get rid of any residual dirty oil.

ohhh really. when i bought the container it had a blueish color to it.

and i took it to a shop that changed it for me.

How else is the oil going to get from the top of the block to running out the oil pan?
