Need advice
I had a CL-S about 3 months ago, i got rid of it to get a 00 Civic Si...
the si was stolen in november and i was left with nothing... the car got paid off, no extra money left over for me, so i have to start from scratch again.
I'm in the market to buy another car, i've been looking at the Tsx's
i want a 6spd tsx.
My main question is, are they're any flaws to the tsx's that i should know about?
Anything i should stay away from?
All input is appreciated. Thanks

I have the automatic transmission and I love it but if you are wanting something sportier then I would go with the 6 speed. My car has held together absolutely wonderfully. It handles great and is very reliable. Nothing bad to say here.

I think it falls pretty neatly between the type S and the SI in regard to sportiness and luxury (vehicle age, aside of course).
As far as flaws, just don't expect a race car, expect a well rounded performer. Also be prepared for a few rattles here and there. Otherwise the TSX is extremely solid.

About the rattles, is that something that can be fixed? I loved the nice quietness of my CL-S
thanks again

Is rattling a problem on all Hondas/Acuras? I had '00 GSR before and it rattled like crazy.

In 38 months with my '04 I haven't heard a single rattle, so don't assume that rattles are a given with the TSX. (I know how frustrating rattles can be, and I feel for the many TSX owners whose cars have been rattle-plagued. I was tormented by a rattle in a previous car -- not a Honda product -- and I spent hours disassembling things in the front-seat area of the passenger compartment in an attempt to find and eliminate it. Eventually I succeeded.)

You'll simply love the TSX. Solid car! Great handling! I did have a rattle problem. Turned out to be the glove box, which the dealership replaced. Driving my 04 TSX still brings a smile to my face.

Your opening post does not emphatically state you're looking at Acura, and Acura alone.
If anything, it lends itself to offer other brands worth looking at to make sure your consideration of a TSX is based on what else there is in a similar price bracket and whether they offer a better alternative or cement your conviction that a TSX is definitely what you want.
Anyhoo.....no harm, no foul. Hope you find what your looking for soon.
