I would like to hear from people that have a TSX with Navi and that have had their windows tinted. I want to hear, specifically, from those people that have put on metallic tints. Are you having any problems with the Navigation, after the tints were put on? If yes, what kind of problems?

%18 mettalic zero problems. I've NEVER heard of problems myself. The way I think about is this. Do you think taking a little sheet of plastic and setting it over the nav would affect? Thats really all your doing.

 

Over the screen, or over the GPS receiver? If it's something that could block the satellite signal, that's bad news.

Someone said that the receiver is closer to the rear window.

 

over the receiver. It's under the deck lid in back.

 

i have nav and a metallic tint. from time to time my nav goes completely bezerk and cannot figure out what to do or where I am. this happens mabye once a month at most. Other times my location is 200-300 yards incorrect (like telling me I'm on a parallel street two blocks away). I'm not sure this is caused my my tinting though. both instances occur very infrequently.

 

50% lumar metalic and have not had problems.

 

35% metallic tint. Only have problem when I am in seattle undergroud parking. Other than that I don't see any prob.

 

Metallic Tint, all windows, no problems with navigation. Used it today to find my way around Santa Cruz.
