Does anyone knows what are the model changes from 04 to 05. I have been hanging around and reading about the good information that is posted. I am close to perhaps narrowing down the car choices and TSX is a major contestant for me. BUT, I am worried about the rattles everyone keeps mentioning !!!

AFAIK, for MY 05 you get these new features: heated ouside mirrors, power passenger seat and XM radio.

 

Lighted steering wheel buttons too

 

and MY 2005 also has Milano Red with Ebony interior available in the US.

 

Actually just got an 04 loaner this morning when I took my 05 to the shop. It was dark and I really like the lighted steering wheel controls on the 05. XM is also great. I would definitely buy the 04 if the prices are comparable.

 

I agree. If i could do it all over and find the color choice i want, i would get an 04.

 

Bought a silver 2004 this Saturday, last one on the lot. Got a good deal, significantly less than the 2005's w/ navi are going around.

 

I would get a 05...think of it....NO POWER SEATS for the passenger side on the 04 . And the heated power mirrors are a nice addition.

 

I never ride as a passenger in my ride, so I could care less about a power passenger seat. I don't think that would be something to sell me on paying extra money for an 05 when 04's are still around. Besides, buying an 04 right now would be beneficial for those that trade outta cars early (mileage wise).

 

XM and newer model year will give '05 higher resale value--worth the difference in price.

 

I've owned the 05 model for 2 months. No rattles for me. No actually once I started hearing rattles and I got all scared because I thought that was it! The rattles have finally come! As it turns out it was just my bottled water that rattles.

 

I had a slight windshield rattle last year, but that's gone now. Haven't heard it in over 14 months. I wouldn't mind having the little extras, but I love my '04. I don't think I'd trade it in for anything except the new RL (if I could afford it).
