maint req'd light

maint req'd light

As of yesterday I have been seeing the "Maint Req'd" light flash a few times whenever I start the car. just a couple of flashes, then goes away during driving but returns upon next startup.

Anyone seen this??

You did not mention your mileage. I guess you are close due for oil change. This is just to remind you to do it. If you don't and pass preset mile/km, the light should stay on.

Also that little engine symbol will light up if your gas cap is not closed tightly.
