Just a thought...

Okay this sounds absolutely insane, but here it goes. I got my TSX 5 AT w/ Nav, LoJack, Auto Start, Floor Mats, and Wheel Locks. NBP w/ ebony and extended warranty (the 7 year one). Right now I have 2037 Miles on it and I got it in May 05. How much can I possibly get for it??? (exterior near flawless just some light scratches like 2 or 3 small)

I was thinking... I went to Scion and test drove a tC and sat around in the xB and xA, I like it very much... Can I possibly trade in my tsx and get a tC MT and an xA AT without adding very much?

You could probably get 25k for it I would guess. But why do you want to do this?

I can totally understand how/why a 17 year old would appreciate a scion more than a tsx =)

Scions are not bad looking but compared to the TSX...come on! The TSX is a beautiful car....better than alot of women around too !!!! Yea, we don't have them in Canada but I saw some in Kentucky when I was down there.

Okay, first age isn't supposed to be a consideration in decision making like this. That's as kindly as I can put it and please do not classify me as rich spoiled/ricer boy/ typical numb nuts teenagers out there. There are other things to take into account. I was thinking this because I want my dad to get a new car while safely maintaining financial security. Secondly, I never said I appreciate the Scion more than the TSX both are two different cars in terms of luxury amenities and such. How much could this car possibly depreciate in 3 years, it supposedly has one of the best residual values in the market.

ur TSX is probably worth around $26,000 or so.... a brand new tc is around $18,000, and an xA is around $14,000

if you decide to get rid of the TSX, so that money could go towards the purchase of two scions, my guess is you will have to shell out about $6000 to $8000 to make that happen

In terms of residual value, the Scions wont worth much, my suggestion is to keep the TSX, and use that money that u planned to shell out to get the scions to lease one
