iPod adapter for TSX
Over on the TL thread, someone said that they talked to a manager at the local Acura dealership and he said that Acura will have an adapter that will fit the '04 and '05 Acuras. The adapter will be different than the one for the '06 model year, but they'll have an adapter that will work with '04 and '05! Anyone else hear this?

The Acura Music Link adaptor provides outstanding sound quality while charging the iPod battery at the same time by a cable conveniently located in the glove compartment. The adaptor will be available starting in mid-December exclusively for purchase and installation at Acura dealers. Suggested retail pricing for the Acura Music Link will be approximately $250 plus dealer installation charge. Acura Music Link is backed by a full Acura factory warranty. Consumers should check with Acura dealers for specific restrictions.
iPod's are available at in the U.S. through the Apple Store(R) at www.apple.com and at selected retail outlets.

If it's true that 04-05 Acura models can get the iPod connector, I bet there's going to be a flood of people heading to their Acura dealers. I wonder how long the waiting list will be in a few months (and if 06 owners will get priority).

For what it is worth, I spoke to a salesperson during a test drive of a TSX the other day. He said he was fairly sure the iPod integration would work with the 2005 models as the radio did not change (other than the aux jack).

Well, I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that this is true. Heck, we just need Eldurino to check this out once it's out and have him give us the verdict. If it takes getting an '06 head unit, I'll do it to not have to deal with Dension.
