I don't know if my CGP exterior has to do anything with the appearance of the light output, but my license plate lights look dim and purplish so I'm not completely satisfied (not close to the lexus look).

funny you mention that...i think the exterior color might have something to do with it cause iv'e seen a lexus GS350 in white and black...somehow the white lights stood out more in the white GS.. with that being said...i'm hoping mine will look good since i have a PWP...

So is the interior "too blue" when using 9LEDs for the doors, and 4LEDs for the map and dome lights? My main concern is still being able to use the map lights for reading stuff? Is it too blue to read things normally?

ok...so i just put in my 9LED's in the interior..superwhite from tec-toyz...i like the look...i thought it was gonna be too bright but to me it's more of a subtle white color vs. the yellowish stock bulbs...don't get me wrong..its bright...just not as bright as i imagined...i went with white since i already have the blue LED'S in my doors...i'm happy with it all... next up...9LED'S for the license plate lights...

you should like the plate lights if you like your interior lights...Since i got my plate LEDs on..i would pull up in front of a Lexus just to make them look at my plate lights! at least i think they will look...hehe

has anyone considered dim red lights in the rear dome? or is that too freaky? I was thinking of making it look like a tank cockpit or something.

Thinking of buying bulbs from tec_toyz... need advice

I am about to buy some led bulbs from tec_toys to replace the door, map, dome, and trunk lights.

Any suggestion about color (white vs blue) for each?
Should I purchase 9LED bulbs for all of the above applications?

Thanks a lot for all the help!

I have an ABP so my doors are blue bright leds
domes are all white and license plate is white.

I asked for super brights their is a big difference between 4 led and 9 led. On the doors before mine were so dim and now their pretty bright.

What colors do you have on doors/dome light? I am thinking of getting all white. Do you recommend blue anywhere? Or is it just too blue?

Thanks!

Anyone know how to get ahold of this "Brian" fellow at tec toyz? The website is pretty lame in that there is no email address or anything listed anywhere. I tried using the little "Contact Us" form but I haven't heard back and it's been a couple days.

also, do these 9 LED bulbs get hot? I am just afraid they will burn the plastic if they are a tight fit

get 7440. the instruction mention that there was no 7440 before, so they subsituted it w/ 7443 , now superbrightleds sells 7440.

one more thing... Do I really need to get RL-650 Tail Light Load Resistor kit for turn signals? If so, is it easy to mount it?

get the led that's one big flat circle. I think autoluminations has it. sometimes is described as a 1watt led bulb too. It's a single led but its flat and a huge a circle.

just ordered the complete blue l.e.d. kit, will post pictures/opinion in a few days when they come in. Hopefully it will all be together for the Florida mega meet this weekend, so if anyone is unsure they can check it out. Well, if you are in Florida you can check it out
