I'm not an American

Well, as the title says, I'm not an American, I don't own a TSX.

I'm the proud owner of a 2005/6 Honda Accord UKDM.

The reason I'm here and not on some UK site is the simple fact there are none and the Honda related ones are rubbish and full of total morons.

I've been lurking here for a few months on and off using the tutorials and reading posts, just fitted my Comptech SSK and have a few more parts on the way.

Just hope it's not an issue that I'm not from the US!

Neither you are! Fantastic!
Wasn't sure if this was a US only forum, since yer all mad yanks with yer "hyooomvees"

Expect plenty of tongue in cheek nonsense from me, but seriously, it's so nice to have found a forum for these exceptional cars, seems very few people in the UK are interested in working on them, most folks just want to rice out their Civic's and various nasty french cars.

Sorry to double post but I can't edit!

Haggis is excellent, though I don't think it's the same over there as you're not allowed to cook them in the sheeps stomach!

Piccies!

Arrr someone bearing drink! Probably not a good idea.
I'll be over in Florida in October and I'm desperately trying to get the rental company to give me a TSX

No one's complained that the Canadian TSX's will do 250, so you shouldn't have a problem. Well, 235, anyway...

Your more than welcome. I've seen Canadian's, Ozzies, South Africans and some Asians on this forum. It's world wide. We all have a common interest in the Acura/Honda line of automobiles. This forum is very informative, so enjoy

BTW, Florida in October is very nice......

This isn't a US-only site! A lot of places on the internet get international visitors... although, a lot of things do tend to be dominated by the US. We do a lot and set trends -- what else can I say?

Let us know if you need some tips on places to visit in FL.. um... maybe in a more appropriate off-topic forum.

Meanwhile, some of us might be interested in the difference between the US and UK models. And pics.

I actually quite like the USDM lights

Sadly the Euro-R is only available in Japan(why?!) but the Euro-R lip is the same as on the the new 2006/07 Accord Type-S so you might just be in luck

Neither am I, so that makes 3 so far.
2 Canadians, 1 Scot, and 2 from the UK.
Work that one out!

You might want to stick your head in www.thaoc.co.uk for some local fun and whatnot.

Where?

I've just uploaded some new pics to the thread I put in the photographs section, had the car in the dealership today. They've sent the shots off to Honda for their opinion.

Turns out I've got 4-5 seperate occurances, one on the bonnet, one spot on both front wheel arches and a spot on the boot!

I had heard Honda didn't electrogalvanise their cars but I didn't actually believe it.

Seen the images in the other thread (let's keep it contained to there from here on in), and I'm absolutely gobsmacked.
Still, if HUK CS take care of you as they did me with a 4 year old car regarding AC and headlights, then you'll not worry too much about it.
