How much do you pay for your TSX?

I am thinking of buying one, I am in Bay Area, CA. Can I go below MSRP? Please list the price you pay with your trim level.

Thanks!

I'm in the Bay Area also and paid MSRP for Automatic w/out navi. Since it's been a few months since the TSX has been out, I'm pretty sure you can bargain it down to a thousand below MSRP.

Bought a TSX/Auto/no NAV 10 days ago. Paid 26,490 ($500 off sticker) and they included wheel locks, trunk tray, and spoilers ($292 list value) at this price. You can definitely get at least 500 off sticker and probably a little more, or at least some extras thrown in.

I bought mine by emailing all the dealers in a 300 mile radius. Almost all offered $500 under sticker. There was one Dallas dealer who was offering any of the 10 in stock manual transmission models at $1200 off sticker. DON"T PAY MSRP!! You should be able to go lower.

Yes, some dealers in the SF Bay Area do go below MSRP. I highly recommend doing what the quoted person above did: Email each dealer for EMAIL quotes. Or, go to their Web sites and requests quotes via email. It's important to get it in writing.

In June, of the dozen (?) or so dealers I contacted, three readily offered prices below MSRP. Another one sort of offered some amount off MSRP, but they bundled in a protection package without explaining what it was.

One dealer told me nothing but MSRP, MSRP, MSRP until I got quotes from other dealers and placed my order with one of them.

I put down $500 at the end of April. Took delivery mid may.

I paid $26,990 + 30 + 33 + 50 out the door for the car, trunk tray, wheel locks, cargo net.

No tax. YAY!

Actually in some places people were able to get a few hundred off MRSP but now they can only get it for MRSP. I think it has to do with that more people know about the car now. Supply and demand.

Either ways everyone just seems to suggest, find the best deal and get it now. Waiting on this instance might not be that good.

I don't know, FH -- we are still hearing about people getting discounts.
But yes, come to think of it, it seems like the discounts lately are smaller.

And, as was the case from the start, it depends on region. N.Y. City area is an example of a place where discounts have been rare, since day 1.

Is everyone saying this? I've been sort of saying it for a long time, and Justin just said it on another thread but of course he's a salesman.

Ok, ok, fine you got me. I only read posts from the people that i respect. And from what they're saying is to get the car. I think its just where you're located. Some places you can get a deal easily. Some places you cannot. Big areas in LA you will have a easier time compared to a place with only 1 dealership in the 30 mile radius.

It seems in LA too that the discounts are decreasing but still im sure if you try you can find a very good discount. But im going to be the type thats just too lazy.:P

I paid $25,200 for a PWP/AT/Non-Navi. This is $1790 below MSRP. I got the car in Houston 3 weeks ago.

First offer from the dealer was for $25,500 by email. This is after firing emails to 6 dealers in Houston, Austin and San Antonio offering them $25,000 for the above in White or Red.

No junk fees..

I'm in Chicago and paying MSRP. I'm not that disappointed about it. I just want the car and it's the best value in the class, so there's my big savings. I'm supposed to take delivery today!! I can't wait. I had only shopped for a couple weeks and none of the 5 dealerships I contacted would offer me anything less than sticker. And not to sound like I don't care about $$, but $500 or $1000 isn't that big a deal to me right now.....

I was able to get my MSM/5AT/Non-navi from Steven Creek for about $1,000 below MSRP about a month ago. I'm still waiting to pick it up though (supply is definately low). However, ozzman said in another board that he got his from stevens creek a little while ago and could not get too much off MSRP. I talked to my sales guy and he confirmed that they've been getting alot more people coming in to look at the car lately. So I would say that if you can get $500 off MSRP that is a good deal.

Yea a lot of the dealers are now saying that they have a lot of customers for the TSX and is not afraid that the car won't sale.

Got my CG 6MT w/ Nav in late May for $600 under MSRP with 2.99% APR. Also got wheel locks, splash guards, trunk tray, and cargo net thrown in for free. Cal Jones from the Oakland Acura sales department was very cool to work with. If you really want the car, I suggest you call and see what they have in stock... No impression of their service department yet.

I picked up my TSX from Stevens Creek Acura for about $2000 under MSRP, but it was a demo vehicle with 1900 miles on the clock, so that helped. It was a good experience dealing with the internet sales managers. You'll probably have a tough time getting much under $500 below MSRP, but you can certainly show up on the last weekend (or day) of the month around 8pm and see how bad they want to sell a car!

I just purchased my CG in S. California on 8/15. Paid $500 under MSRP plus split the difference on accessories that were suppossedly already installed (mudguards and wheel locks). Total was $26990-500=$24990+61=$25531+tax and license.

I purchased a CG/Quartz/Navi AT in Long Island, NY on 8/8. I got $700 off MSRP, free all-season mats and wheel locks. It was on the lot, which made it easier to deal, but I was offered $500 off (instead of $700) if I wanted to order or trade with another dealer. Our original choice was Black/Ebony/Navi MT, but we this was our second choice for colors and I didn't mind giving up the MT.

I paid full msrp but got the protection package tossed in. What can you expect when you pick up the car the first day it goes on sale.

Paid 29K with the full body kit no Navi.
The dealer here only had 2 and all dealers around here seem to be selling it at MSRP only.
Still i cant complain I love driving this car and im coming from a 2003 accord coupe and this car is the most fun to drive car i have ever had.
I cant wait to add a few more performance mods!

I forgot to mention that the deal also included free oil changes (at that dealer only, of course) every 3750 miles until the warranty is up. (I know that Acura only recommends oil changes every 10,000 or 5,000 [severe conditions] but at that price, I will likely take them up on the offer.)

This is something they do for all Acuras sold there -- my assumption is that they want you to go to them for service.

Cool Best price in town--malibu, calabasas area, CA

Ok so this car dealer near me gave me the best service and quick sell for my TSX w/navi. I sold my 1993 integra for $8200 (private sale) then I paid cash for the TSX sticker is around 29000. I paid $26,500 for the Tsx w navi. However, there is not a huge supply now so you will have to place a deposit down and wait. I waited for 3 weeks. But i sold my car in 1 day hahah.....Great deal and also Acura dealer sent me a gift certificate for a professional photograph worth $500 (the same guy ive used for family protraits) great gift from them.Let me know if you want more info. thanks daniel dcap@mac.com

Thumbs up

I paid about 650 off msrp at Steven's Creek Acura. It was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had... evar. We settled on a price quick, found the color I wanted and drove off the lot the same day. David, the fleet manager guided me though the whole process. He even took the liberty to go over every feature on the car. He gave a detailed description of every button, knob, etc. Furthermore, the car was actually waxed, the tire pressure was right on the dot, and I had floor mats, splash guards, trunk tray, wheel locks. (took off splash guard at home when I heard they scratch the paint, this is true)

If you had to buy from a dealer around the SF area, I’d say go check out Steven’s creek Acura. I haven't been to another Acura dealership like it.

BTW, I drove from Stockton to pick it up.

I don't know where everyone is finding these deals, because in the Southeast area, (TN, KY, GA) there are no deals to be had.

The local Acura dealer here in Nashville offered the car to me for MSRP, but they said they would throw in mud flaps. That's when I countered with $500 off MSRP and they could keep any freebies. The sales lady said she would talk to the manager and call me back. I never heard from her again. I really want a TSX, and have all but decided that I am going to have to pay full retail.

It looks like there are some deals in CA, but that obviously is out of the question.

I paid $26,457 at Niello Acura in Sacramento. Price included fog lamps (parts and installation charges) plus the cargo tray I said I wanted but was going to buy later (didn't want to finance a cargo tray!). When I picked up the car, the cargo tray was there as a "thank you for your business."
