How many bulbs in the dome light?

i just installed some WHITE DE3175 LED bulbs in my Map Light using these:
the Festoon bulbs or the square 1's with 9 leds on them.
My concern is that after i turn off the lights, THE LEDS are still on BUT ULTRA DIM. Is this normal? should i worry about it consuming the battery?

Those white 9LED festoon are what I have. I noticed that when I turn my dome lights to 'on' instead of 'door,' they come on ultra dim like that. Mine turn off themselves after the doors close only when its on 'door.' I never had them stay on dimly after they turn off when the switch is on 'door.' Check your switch too see if they are on 'door' or 'on.'
I bet you have them on 'on'
I would be concerned about battery drain if they remain on after the car if off.... again, check the switch and make sure it is on 'door.'

Okay, sorry for double post....
I just checked the domes in my car.
Your switch is on 'on.' You have to leave it on 'door.'
The disadvantage of using LEDs is that you can't use the 'on' switch option at all anymore... but you don't need to anyway. You have to push the lens upward to turn the bulbs on/off now instead of using the door/on switch.

I've heard that LEDs draw way less current than filament bulbs.
this is funny:

I believe that's what I've heard... maybe on that lighting forum I linked to.
I'm not exactly sure why they are dim like that when the switch is 'on.' I just know that it happens.
It is reasonable to assume that since LEDs need less current, that small amount of remaining current in the wire is able to illuminate the LEDs but not the filament bulbs. But I can't be absolutely sure.
I wouldn't leave them dim like then when the car is off. I just wouldn't risk it.
