Was A-Spec a dealer installed option? what did it include?

Guy's I've seen a few videos featuring "A-Spec" tsx's...

Yet I do not believe acura ever officially offered such a vehicle? Did they? If so what year? what did it feature? Stiffer shocks? different springs? Different wheels? Seems to be fairly minor and the fact that one of the vid's featured an automatic "A-Spec" really made me wonder if it was simply a badging stunt pulled off by a few folks with the cars?

Its just a bunch of marketing for the
aspec body kit
aspec wheels
aspec suspension.
aspec badge.

half the time its overpriced parts throw into the package, but you end up paying alot more half the time.

hey, before some tells you to search lol i'll help ya out.

Aspec package includes:
-different suspension(lowers less than an inch)
-Aspec rims
-Aspec Lip Kit (body kit)
-Aspec badge for your trunk.

you dont have to everything, you could just buy the lip kit, or wheels an so on.

if you dont have it, i would def suggest the lip kit(for any year)

Yea Acura has it and you have the choice to add it, but I wouldn't. It's all cosmetic, some ppl think that the A-SPEC TSX has a diff engine or something but it's all the same. It's all mark up but I do agree that the kit is really nice, but you can buy it online now for a lot less than a dealer will try to sell it to you.

^ that is the 04 list and I don't see the exhaust tips listed on there but I would trust the ppl on here more as they may have added that down the road or whatever opposed to the 04 press release lol.

What is the cheapest place to buy a 04-05 full A Spec lip kit, brand new, painted in OEM color? I found one on eBay for $936 shipped, just wondering if there was anywhere else cheaper off the top of your head?

A little birdy told me to wait until tomorrow and check the group buys section. The new parts guy is supposed to have a "killer deal" on it Monday 3/2.
